The Alpine mountain range, some of the highest mountains in Europe, the lakes in the area of Verona and Como, but also the sea and the lagoon landscape: here's what you can find in the north of Italy. Main cities are:
- Venice and its mainland, particularly rich of museums and historical buildings of great artistic and cultural importance.
- Turin, with more than 40 museums, with its buildings, squares, courtyards and churches, its urban development works and exhibitions, its historic relics and avant-garde pieces, its traditions and its progress.
- Milan, with its famous Dome and the Church and Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, the home of Leonardo's Last Supper, listed as part of UNESCO's Worldwide Heritage since 1980
- Como, where you can find a variety of atmospheres and landscapes: from the high mountains to the lake, from the wild alpine valley to the city area.
